<<< REWARD, NO QUESTIONS ASKED>>

Kind viewers and members of this community:

I usually don't do this type of thing, but I am desperate and I have exhausted every method possible to find my lost (stolen) dog. I was hoping you could help through this media and alert pet owners that cruel people are out there to steal pets and sell them or give them as gifts. Which is what I think happened in my case.

My dog Pancho, is a male Chihuahua that I found him last September. I was going through a really rough time in my life and he saved me!  Out of all those people, he picked me and without hestiation, I took him home. He brought such light and joy to my life.

On Saturday, February 2 around 10:15 am, I let the dogs out again in my backyard. I ran outside to my car to get something and when I ran back inside I realized it was too cold for them, so I went to the back to let them inside and only one dog came back. I called out for Pancho and checked the backyards and perimeter of the fence. I ran outside and checked the street and could not find him. I screamed his name and I jumped in my car to go look for him. Nothing. I walked up each street and alley, checked backyards and nothing. I did this all day Saturday. I checked the shelters, websites and nothing. At night, I went and printed out some flyers. It was awful. I sat there at the computer at Kinko's bawling my eyes out. My friend had to finish the flyer. I fell apart at Walmart when we went in to get tape.  I put the flyers up on Sunday and continued to look for him.

I put an ad in the Albuquerque Journal, Petfinder, and the Animal Human Association. The radio station 100.3 the Peak did a wonderful job in mentioning this story. I have also been to the Albuquerque Animal Services department and reported my dog missing, I put up a flyer there and checked each building to see if my dog was there.

I haven't slept, I have constant reminders of him in my home. My other dog is mourning and I keep praying to God and St. Anthony for his safe return.

I am afraid that with Valentines Day coming up, more dogs are going to turn up missing or stolen. I don't want this to happen to anybody else, especially a child.  I am providing pictures of my dog so in case you see him. Please spread the word.

I am desperate and have not been able to stop crying since Saturday.  Unfortunately his tag fell off a day before and I had decided to put it back on in the morning. I was also going to get him microchipped this weekend, once I got paid.

I feel like I am doing everything to find him. However, if he was taken from my yard and sold to someone, I would like the public to know that his is unacceptable. I have to go to bed every night, wondering if my Pancho is safe and ok. I hate not knowing how he is and it kills me.

Every day, my heart breaks when I walk into my house, and he is not there.  I look at his bed and its empty and his favorite toy, a fleecy lamb, just sits there where he left it in the house. His little companion, my terrier Jessica, sits on the steps of my house waiting for him. His favorite ball is still on my bed where he left it.

Please if you can send a message out to you friends, family, co-workers and neighbors,  maybe we can avoid another pain like mine.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post!!
I hope you can help me!

Sincerely,
A desperate doggie owner!!
