There is a survey about lowering the fines on the people that run red lights in ABQ.  I think the find should stay at the same or even increase to give them a reason not to run the lights.  They are taking a 4,000 pound lethal weapon and going through a red light at 30MPH trying to kill me.  If a person has a driver's license, they should be familiar enough with how a red light works to be able to stop when it is yellow and then red.

I have seen people run a light even when it is red and they start through it.  Do they think it's going to turn green again before they get in the middle?
