A cooler day across New Mexico for today but we will quickly rebound throughout the rest of the week.  Temps will be in the mid 60's in most lowland sections of the state.  Not much to speak of weather wise through the weekend.  Beyond that we could have a very promising storm on the horizon.  

Let us begin discussion of this storm with a warning.  Due to the time frame (way out) and current pattern (way north) I don't want you to get too excited/concerned with what I'm about to say.  Chances are this storm will not come to pass in the form in which its currently depicted on the forecast models.  However, I must tell you this thing looks sweet.  Monday night a strong and very cold trough begins to dig into the southwest from the pacific northwest.  It deepens and strengthens over Arizona by Tuesday.  This coul d draw in lots of moisture into the state through Thursday.  Due to the extremely cold temps projected at the surface much of the precip from this storm would be in the form of snow.  This could make travel very difficult for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Needless to say we will keep you posted.
