Friends of New Mexico K-9 is solicting donations to increase the capabilities of the Albuquerque Police Department’s Bomb Squad. They only have a single bomb dog to cover the entire city. One is not enough! We are soliciting donations in order to purchase a second bomb dog for APD.
We donated the current K-9 "Josie" in 2005 and she has been busy working ever since.
The K-9 is used to clear an area prior to events such as Presidential visits and other large or high profile gatherings. The bottom line is that Albuquerque needs another bomb dog to keep up with the increasing workload.

“Friends of New Mexico K-9” helps support K-9 teams in your community. We provide training opportunities, needed equipment and help replace any dog lost in the line of duty. As part of The World’s Most Wanted, Inc. (a 501c3 not for profit charitable organization) we maintain strong support for local law enforcement agencies.

On Saturday September 29th we’ll be at the Sam’s Club on Eubank with the bomb squad robot, bomb dog and other K-9 demonstrations.
