Don't forgive this mayor for what he has done this time, he is just thumbing his nose at the citizens of the city. He has no integrity (look it up) and will do it again if left to slip away. Meet the new Teflon Mayor in the U.S. We don't care if he was cheating on his wife, that is for her to take action, but the lying under oath is a big deal. How many other times has he lied to the citizens? How can future business leaders trust his word and bring jobs to the city? I know I would have second thought if I was considering coming to the city to open up my business there. He has been surrounded by controversy and cover ups since he was elected. I believe someone committed murder of that dancer to cover up his lies. Remember, absolute power corupts, absolutely (11th grade social studies) it has proven to be right again. Detroiters deserve better instead of leaving and abandoning the city, kick his "hip-hop a@@ out on the street!

Please enough! Its about the 90th blog to say basicly the same thing in one way or another! I dont support the Mayor on this issue, but its flooding this blog site way too much!

I will leave him alone when HE grows up and starts performing the job the citizens of Detroit voted him in office to do! OPEN your eyes! I am a mature adult, capable of doing many tasks including running the city in a manner of which it deserves. This thug has ruined the reputation of the city, made the citizens a laughing stock of the nation and you want to protect his sorry azz! You are dumber than your comments suggest. Guilty of perjury Mr. Mayor, step down!

I agree. I am glad that Warren finally got rid of Steenburgen. But if it takes Detroit that long to get rid of Kwame, it will be broke.

You are correct. Do they even have term limits in the city for mayor? Fouts has hit the city like a Cheetah on a Gazel, I hope the momentum continues.

Former resident of Detroit, and Conservative taxpayer! I want my country, and our forefathers to remain a Capitalistic Democracy and not a Socialistic regime. I research things the media tells me, because I never believe everything I hear. I was right about Kwame and I am right about Obama, and my gut tells me he is the beginning of the end if he is elected. What is good for Americans is good for everyone, not just a select few for which he wants to "help". I have always been proud of my country, you should be too!
